Welcome to WalkNZ. We’re all about collecting the stories of New Zealand’s walks, from the great trails of Tongariro to the secret paths that only you know about (but are happy to share!)
New Zealand has the best walks in the world, and walking is the number one activity amongst locals and tourists alike. But there’s nowhere that tells the stories of the trails from a walker’s point of view. That’s our mission: to collect the stories of the trails of New Zealand from Cape Reinga to Stewart Island.
The point is to provide walkers with the real-deal information we need to plan and enjoy great walking experiences in New Zealand. The more stories we share, the better, safer and more fun all of our walks will be.
